Asiphile “let’s live”
This past Saturday, we showed up and brought life to a space that changes the lives of many kids on a daily basis. Asiphile, is a well-run facility in rural Molweni, that is so near to being able to register as an ECD (early childhood development). Over 30 volunteers, give up their Saturday morning to paint, sand, plant up a veggie garden, install taps, glass in windows, refit other windows and install white boards and pin boards. We left the building and garden looking smart and beautiful, imagining the look on the kid’s faces Monday morning as they arrived to find a “new” school.
A big thank you to the volunteers and donors who engage in making Durban all it was meant to be!
It was also special working with partner organisations: LIV Village who helped with many hands and Robin Hood Foundation with donated paint, toys and some toiletries.
